		The RUESCH name is known for racing, and with racing comes a strong appreciation for safety. Playing hard is part of the fun but without the proper safety features fun can turn tragic in the blink of an eye.





	Some accidents are the result of careless driving but an alarming percentage of accidents are due to poor vehicle design. RUESCH leads the industry in vehicle safety because at RUESCH safety comes first.

	Despite the findings in case after case, many manufactures continue to produce vehicles with a wheel base that is allegedly too narrow for the high center of gravity. Following these findings, RUESCH was the only OEM to take steps to widen their base model for the sake of safety. Today the XR is 8" over and the XRL is 16" over. Wider is safer & wider is faster.

Studies in many UTV cases show that severe neck injury is happening as a result of the head rest pad typical of most UTV designs. The pad only offers impact protection if the helmet hits the pad centered, but if the helmet hits the pad on the sides, top or bottom the pad actually contributes to additional neck injury. RUESCH is the only company that uses high back race seats with side-to-side support.


In nearly all racing, the traditional cross shoulder seat belt is not legal because it does not offer the same level of protection in a roll over situation. All RUESCH vehicles come standard with 4 point harnesses designed to keep you in the vehicle despite unforeseen accidents.


	The driving experience must be equally safe for all adults. Though many have set a precedence for seats that can not be adjusted, RUESCH knows the value of this safety feature. One size does not fit all. If drivers can not comfortably reach the peddles it is less likely that they will be able to prevent an accident.
